Here are some of the key benefits at a glance: Minimises pores: you can significantly minimise the appearance of your pores with regular use of the Progressive Peel. The gentle exfoliating action helps to remove excess oil and impurities that can build up in pores and enlarge them. Your skin appears smoother and more even. Reduces wrinkles: Progressive Peeling stimulates cell renewal to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The combination of polylactic acid and gluconolactone promotes the production of collagen, which is responsible for the elasticity and firmness of the skin. Look forward to a younger, firmer appearance. Moisturising: Another great benefit of this peeling is its ability to attract and retain moisture in the epidermis. This leaves your skin intensely hydrated and feeling supple and smooth. The improved moisture balance contributes to the health and radiance of your skin. Promote cell renewal: Utsukusy's Progressive Exfoliator stimulates your skin's natural cell renewal. By removing old, dead skin cells, new, healthier cells can form. This results in a fresh and radiant complexion. Suitable for all skin types: Progressive exfoliation is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The carefully selected ingredients ensure a gentle application that does not irritate or dry out the skin. The effective ingredients of the Progressive Peeling Utsukusy's Progressive Peel contains two powerful ingredients that work synergistically to achieve optimal results: Gluconolactone - The gentle PHA (Poly Hydroxy Acid): Gluconolactone belongs to the group of organic acids and has several hydroxy groups. Gluconolactone is produced by oxidising glucose. This allows gluconolactone to be used in higher concentrations in skincare products, although it is also suitable for sensitive skin types. It supports exfoliation by gently removing dead skin cells and clearing pores of impurities. Polylactic Acid - Stimulates collagen production: Polylactic Acid is a biocompatible material used as a filler in aesthetic medicine. It belongs to the family of collagen-inducing agents and stimulates the skin cells to produce their own collagen. This leads to improved hydration, suppleness and elasticity of the skin. Application of the Progressive Peeling To achieve the best results with Progressive Peeling, follow these simple steps: Cleanse: Start by thoroughly cleansing your face of impurities and make-up. Use a mild cleanser that suits your skin type. Apply the peeling: Apply the Progressive Peeling to the cleansed face and massage it in gently using circular movements. Be careful to avoid sensitive areas, such as the eye area. Leave the scrub on for the recommended time. Rinse off: Rinse off the scrub thoroughly with warm water until there is no residue left on the skin. Make sure that all product residue is removed to avoid irritation. Care: After exfoliating, it is important to moisturise your skin. Apply a serum and moisturiser and gently massage in using upward movements. This helps to soothe the skin and support its regeneration. Pyruvic acid peeling | Utsukusy Cosmetics
Pyruvic acid peeling set from Utsukusy Cosmetics The Pyruvic Acid Peeling Set from Utsukusy Cosmetics is a high-quality cosmetic product that helps to rejuvenate the skin and minimise wrinkles. With this set, you can quickly and easily perform an intensive exfoliation and make your skin softer, smoother and more radiant. The pyruvic acid peelingfrom Utsukusy Cosmetics has a pH value of 2.8 - 3.0. The pH value of a peeling gives an indication of the strength or intensity of the peeling. The lower the pH value of a peeling, the more intensive the effect of the peeling. Pyruvic acid is an organic compound that is widely used in dermatology. It is also known as the most characteristic alpha-keto acid as it contains a ketone functional group attached to the carbon atom of a carboxyl group. Pyruvic acid is commonly found in fermented fruits, vinegar and apples and is also produced by the body as a result of metabolic processes. Due to its low molecular weight, pyruvic acid is able to penetrate quickly and deeply into the skin, stimulating the production of elastic fibres and glycoproteins. It has a moisturising and comprehensive anti-ageing effect. The pyruvic acid peeling is ideal for medium and deep wrinkles. Contents of the pyruvic acid peeling set The set contains three products: the Pre-Peel Solution, the Pyruvic Acid Peel and the Post-Peel Solution. The Pre-Peel Solution cleanses and prepares the skin for the peel, while the Post-Peel Solution stops the peeling process and soothes the skin. Pre-Peel Solution 150 ml The Pre-Peel Solution is an important part of the set as it ensures that the skin is optimally prepared for the peel. By disinfecting the skin, it removes all dirt and sebum and prepares the skin to absorb the pyruvic acid. This ensures that the peeling is more effective and delivers better results. Pyruvic Acid Peeling 60ml The pyruvic acid peeling is the actual peeling product. It contains pyruvic acid, an organic compound that penetrates deep into the skin and stimulates the production of elastic fibres and glycoproteins. This gives the skin a comprehensive anti-ageing effect and keeps it hydrated. You start the actual peeling with the application of pyruvic acid. Post-Peel Solution 150 ml The post-peel solution stops the peeling process as it neutralises the effect of the acid. For this reason, the post-peel solution is often referred to as a neutraliser. Using the pyruvic acid peeling set Using the pyruvic acid peel is simple and straightforward. You apply the pre-peel solution to the already cleansed skin to disinfect and prepare the skin. Then apply the pyruvic acid peel and leave it on for 4 to 8 minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove the excess acid and apply the post-peel solution to stop the peeling process. Leave this on for 1 to 4 minutes before rinsing it off with plenty of water. When using the Utsukusy Cosmetics pyruvic acid peel kit, please note that it is important to follow the instructions carefully. You should never leave the peel on the skin for longer than the instructions state and you should ensure that you always use the pre-peel solution and the post-peel solution in the correct order. Conclusion: Overall, Utsukusy Cosmetics' Pyruvic Acid Peel Set is a high-quality and effective cosmetic product that helps to rejuvenate the skin and minimise wrinkles. If you are looking for an intensive chemical peel that is quick and easy to use, you should try this set. It should also be emphasised that the pyruvic acid peel is an ideal solution for medium and deep wrinkles. It is particularly suitable for people with mature skin. Due to the decline in collagen and elastin production in the body, the skin loses tone and elasticity as it ages. The pyruvic acid peeling helps to stimulate this production again and can therefore help to improve the appearance of the skin. Warning: This cosmetic product is intended for professional use only. After using this product: Avoid sun/use sunscreen. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. For external use only. Do not swallow. Pre-Peel Solution
Pre-Peel Solution from Utsukusy Cosmetics | Degreaser A pre-peel solution, also known as a degreaser, is a special solution that is applied to the skin before a chemical peel such as a fruit acid peel. It is used to thoroughly cleanse the skin and remove excess oil, dirt, make-up residue and other impurities. This pre-treatment optimally prepares the skin for the chemical peel. The Pre-Peel Solution has several important functions: 1. degreasing: it removes excess oil and sebum from the skin's surface, allowing better absorption of the chemical peel.2. cleansing: it removes dirt, impurities and make-up residues that could impair the effectiveness of the chemical peel.3. pH adjustment: the Pre-Peel Solution can adjust the skin's pH level to optimally prepare it for the subsequent chemical peel.4. optimising results: By preparing the skin, the chemical peel can penetrate the skin better and therefore potentially achieve better results. After using the Pre-Peel Solution, the chemical peel should be performed according to the instructions in order to achieve the best possible results and to properly care for and protect the skin. Very often a post-peel solution, also known as a neutraliser or neutralising solution, is used after the exposure time of a chemical peel to stop the peeling process and restore the skin's pH value. Mandelic Acid Peeling Set | Utsukusy Cosmetics
Mandelic acid peeling: the ideal solution for demanding skin More and more people are turning to cosmetic treatments to optimise their skin care. One option is mandelic acid peeling, which is an alpha hydroxy acid(AHA) and is becoming increasingly popular due to its effectiveness. Mandelic acid peeling is the best choice for oily skin, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, freckles, acne and acne scars as well as fine lines and wrinkles. Mandelic acid peeling, ideal for acne scars Mandelic acid peeling, a chemical peeling for professional users from Utsukusy Cosmetics, is characterised by its high molecular weight, which ensures that it penetrates the skin more slowly and is therefore less irritating. It is therefore particularly gentle and ideal for combating skin ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles and fine lines and improving the skin's appearance. It also helps to stimulate cell division and thus create a smoother and finer skin texture. The mandelic acid peeling from Utsukusy Cosmetics is also an excellent choice before microneedling treatments. This is because it ensures that the active ingredients used in microneedling can penetrate the skin better. The set contains everything you need for a professional peel: 60 ml natural acid with a pH value of 2.8 to 3.0, a pre-peel disinfectant solution 150 ml and a post-peel neutralisation solution 150 ml. Mandelic acid peel: areas of application and benefits It is suitable for a variety of skin problems such as wrinkles, fine lines, oily and acne-prone skin, hyperpigmentation and freckles as well as light-induced skin ageing. Acid peeling can also be used to treat scars, especially acne scars. Wrinkles and fine lines Oily and acne-prone skin Pigment spots and freckles Photoaging, i.e. light-induced skin ageing Scars, especially acne scars The properties of the peeling help the skin to renew itself and become firmer. The skin is freed from dead cells and can therefore distribute pigments more evenly. Active ingredients applied after a peel can also penetrate deeper into the skin. Mandelic acid peeling: contraindications The peeling should not be used if you have Almond allergy Open wounds Dermatitis Severe couperose Fresh scars Acute herpes infections Diabetes / wound healing disorders Pregnancy / breastfeeding Known allergies to ingredients Taking retinoids (vitamin A) Bacterial or viral infections of the skin (e.g. boils, carbuncles, tuberculosis) Laser treatments in the last 6 months Tumour disease / chemotherapy Properties of mandelic acid Over the course of time, the skin produces less and less collagen, which reduces the elasticity and resilience of the skin - the connective tissue loses its firmness. Now is the time for fruit acids to be used. Of course, this not only applies to ageing skin, but also to skin conditions such as acne scars, pigmentation spots, large pores or freckles that bother you. Fruit acids can penetrate the uppermost layers of the skin. They stimulate cell division, which makes it easier to remove the superficial horny scales. Fruit acids re-energise the skin by stimulating regeneration and the skin's own collagen production. In addition, the removal of part of the upper skin layer reduces wrinkles and fine lines. Fruit acids loosen the cell bonds between the individual horny cells, making it easier to remove the top layers of skin and dead horny scales. The regeneration of keratinocytes is also stimulated, which leads to a thickening of the epidermis. This makes the skin more resistant and better able to retain moisture. Fruit acid peels not only lead to a smoother and finer skin texture, but also to a radiant and even complexion, as pigmentation spots and age spots are also whitened and the skin's pigments are evenly distributed. After a mandelic acidpeel, active ingredients that are applied to the skin can be better absorbed and penetrate deeper into the skin. Mandelic acid peel before microneedling - synergy for radiant skin A mandelic acid peel before a microneedling treatment is the perfect preparation for radiant skin. It is a true helper that gently but effectively combats impurities, dead skin cells and fine lines. Used before a microneedling treatment, the acid plays a crucial role in preparing your skin for the revitalisation to come. Gentle exfoliation: Mandelic acid, derived from almonds, is known for its gentle exfoliating action. This peeling gently removes dead skin cells, opens the pores and smoothes the skin's surface. This creates the ideal base for microneedling, as the needles can penetrate the skin more effectively to achieve optimal results. Refined skin texture: The combination of mandelic acid peeling and microneedling aims to refine the skin texture. The peel prepares the skin by removing impurities, while microneedling stimulates collagen production and improves the skin's texture from the inside out. The result? An even, radiant complexion. Maximising the absorption of active ingredients: The acid gently opens the top layer of skin, which improves the absorption of nourishing active ingredients during the microneedling treatment. The synergistic effect of both procedures enables deeper penetration of serums and creams, providing the skin with maximum moisturisation and radiant results. Reduction of skin problems: Acid derived from almonds has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce skin problems such as acne and hyperpigmentation. Using it before microneedling therefore offers a double benefit: reducing skin problems and promoting collagen production for healthier skin. Application of the fruit acid peel On clean skin: Apply Pree-Peel Solution with a gauze to the face, neck and décolleté. Then apply the chemical peeling (acid) with a fan brush. Leave the fruit acid peeling on for at least four minutes, maximum eight minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove the excess mandelic acid (AHA) with a dry gauze and apply the post-peel solution. Leave on for one to four minutes. Remove the remains of the peeling and the post-peel solution with plenty of water. Warning: The Utsukusy MandelicAcid Peeling has a pH value of 2.8 - 3.0 and is intended for professional use only. It may therefore only be used by professional users. Contents of the mandelic acid peeling set This set from Utsukusy contains all the products needed to perform a professional exfoliation. It contains 60 ml of acid with a pH value of 2.8 to 3.0, a pre-peel disinfectant solution 150 ml and a post-peel neutralisation solution 150 ml. The pre-peel disinfectant solution thoroughly cleanses and disinfects the skin and prepares it for the application of the peel solution. The post-peel neutralisation solution has a strong moisturising and decongestant effect after the treatment. It neutralises the skin's pH value and brings it back into balance. Good to know: It is good to know that the effectiveness of fruit acid peels depends not only on the type of fruit acid used and the percentage of fruit acid used (e.g. fruit acid peel with 30% mandelic acid), but also on the pH value. The lower the pH value, the more effective and aggressive the peeling. Frequently asked questions about chemical peels Does a mandelic acid peel help with wrinkles? Mandelic acid, a member of the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) family, is known for its gentle but effective exfoliating ability. Exfoliating with this acid works by removing dead skin cells, which can result in finer, smoother skin. Another positive aspect is its ability to promote collagen production. Collagen is essential for skin elasticity and firmness, which means that exfoliating with mandelic acid can definitely have a place in anti-wrinkle skincare. However, it is important to emphasise that the results of such a peel are more subtle, especially when compared to more invasive techniques such as microneedling. Microneedling creates fine micro-injuries in the skin, which triggers a more intense healing response, including increased collagen and elastin production. This method can have a more pronounced effect in reducing wrinkles and improving skin texture. Now, although mandelic acid peels are a milder option, they have the benefit of causing less downtime and irritation. They are particularly suitable for more sensitive skin types or for those who prefer a gentler approach. It is also an excellent skin preparation before microneedling as it cleanses and prepares the skin for the absorption of active ingredients during the microneedling treatment. It is also worth noting that the effectiveness of peels depends not only on the concentration and pH value, but also on the regularity of applications and subsequent skin care. Products from Utsukusy Cosmetics, for example, provide a professional kit for such a peel, including a pre-peel disinfectant solution and a post-peel neutralisation solution to achieve optimal results. Does a mandelic acid peel make sense for pigmentation spots? The acid extracted from almonds belongs to the alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), which are known for their effective action in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, such as skin spots and uneven skin tone. When used regularly, this AHA helps to loosen the bonds between the dead skin cells that remain on the surface of the skin. By removing this layer, fresh, younger cells are exposed, resulting in a lightened appearance of dark spots and a more even skin tone. Additionally, it stimulates skin renewal and increases the rate of cell turnover. This increase in the rate of cell turnover can help to fade pigmentation spots more quickly and prevent new discolouration from developing. It also favours improved absorption of lightening skin care products that are applied after peeling. In addition, the acid extracted from bitter almonds is able to break up and reduce melanin accumulations. Is mandelic acid in peels good for the skin? Mandelic acid in scrubs can be very good for your skin. It promotes cell renewal, improves the complexion and reduces fine lines. This makes it an effective ingredient in cosmetic skin care. However, please note: an overdose can cause skin irritation. So always follow the instructions for use! Is mandelic acid an AHA? Yes, it is definitely an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid). It is extracted from bitter almonds and is known for its gentle but effective exfoliating effect. It helps to remove dead skin cells and promotes cell regeneration, improving the appearance of your skin. Therefore, mandelic acid peeling is a great choice. How often should you use mandelic acid peeling? We recommend that you initially use mandelic acid peeling every 14 days. Carefully observe how your skin reacts and watch out for potential signs of irritation or hypersensitivity, such as redness, burning or dryness. If your skin reacts positively to the peeling, you can increase the frequency of application to once a week. However, we strongly advise against using it too often, as this can lead to skin irritation. After all, a gentle and well-designed skincare regime is the key to healthy and radiant skin. Content: 150mlFrequently asked questions about the Post Peeling SolutionWhat is a peeling neutraliser for chemical peelings? An exfoliating neutraliser is a product that has been specially developed to stop chemical peels and restore the skin to its natural pH value. How does an exfoliating neutraliser work?Neutralising the pH: Exfoliants, such as alpha and beta hydroxy acids, have a low pH and are very acidic. A peeling neutraliser has a higher pH value and has an alkaline effect. It neutralises the acid and thus stops its effect. Soothing the skin: The neutraliser helps to soothe the skin and minimise irritation. Many exfoliating neutralisers contain soothing ingredients such as aloe vera, camomile or allantoin, which soothe redness and irritation. Restoring the natural pH balance: After a chemical peel, the skin can lose its natural pH balance. A neutraliser helps to restore the skin's pH to normal levels, which is important for skin health and the protection of the skin barrier. Application: ApplyPeeling Neutraliser to the skin immediately after chemical exfoliation. Massage in gently and leave on for a few minutes. Then rinse the Neutraliser off thoroughly with water. In summary: An exfoliating neutraliser is essential after using a chemical peel as it stops the effects of the peel, soothes the skin and restores the natural pH value. These steps are crucial to achieve optimal results and avoid skin irritation. How does a chemical peel work and what does a peel neutraliser do? A chemical peel works by exfoliating the top layer of the skin and removing dead skin cells. This is done by applying acids such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), which break the bonds between the skin cells. How does a chemical peel work? 1. exfoliation: Chemical peels loosen the bonds between dead skin cells and the skin surface, resulting in an exfoliating effect. This promotes cell renewal and reveals fresh, new skin. 2. improvement in skin texture: By removing the top layer of skin, the skin becomes smoother and finer. Fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tones are reduced. 3. stimulation of collagen production: Chemical peels can stimulate collagen production, which helps to improve skin elasticity and firmness. What does an exfoliating neutraliser do? Stops the acid effect: After the exposure time of the chemical peel, the peeling neutraliser is applied to neutralise the acid and stop its effect. This is important to avoid over-treating the skin. Soothes the skin: A neutraliser often contains soothing ingredients such as aloe vera or chamomile, which help to calm the skin after exfoliation and reduce redness. Restoring the pH value: Chemical peels significantly lower the pH value of the skin. An exfoliating neutraliser helps to restore the pH to a normal level, stabilising and protecting the skin barrier. Why should I buy the Post-Peel Solution / Neutraliser from Utsukusy Cosmetics? You should buy Utsukusy Cosmetics' Post-Peel Solution / Neutraliser because it is specially formulated to safely and effectively neutralise the effects of chemical peels and soothe your skin. Here are the main reasons why this product is an excellent choice: Effective Neutralisation: the Post-Peel Solution immediately neutralises the acidity of a chemical peel and stops its effects. This prevents over-treatment and possible skin damage. Soothing effect: This solution contains soothing ingredients that reduce irritation and redness. It helps to soothe the skin after exfoliation and leave it feeling comfortable. Restoring pH: The Post-Peel Solution rebalances the skin's pH, which is crucial for the health of the skin barrier. The Post-Peel Solution is developed by experts and fulfils the highest standards in skin care. Easy to use: The solution is easy to use. Salicylic acid peeling | Utsukusy Cosmetics
Salicylic acid peeling (BHA) with a pH value of 2.8 - 3.0 Salicylic Acid Exfoliant is one of the most effective and versatile chemical exfoliants on the market today. The special formulation contains a high concentration ofsalicylic acid, which can help reduce blemishes, acne, wrinkles and fine lines. It has a special position among chemical peels or fruit acid peels because it is not an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) but a beta-hydroxy acid(BHA), which is why it is often referred to as aBHA peel. How does a peel with salicylic acid work? Salicylic acid is the only fruit acid that is lipophilic. Lipophilic means that it is able to remove fatty deposits and impurities from the skin. This also explains why it is the first choice for oily and combination skin, as it is able to remove excess sebum (seborrhoea) from the pores. Of course, this also helps to prevent your pores from becoming larger. However, this is not the only positive property, as it also has an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect, making it ideal for counteracting the inflammatory processes caused by bacteria in pimples, blackheads and acne-prone skin. It removes dead skin cells, stimulates the body's own production of collagen and thus leads to smoother, radiant facial skin. Who doesn't know them? They look like small keratinised pimples and are mainly found on the upper arms, thighs and buttocks. Colloquially, this rough skin with small pimples is known as chafing skin. The technical term for this is keratosis pilaris. If you suffer from chafing skin, peelings with salicylic acid will be a great help. Not forgetting its ability to remove corneocytes, which are dead skin cells in the form of skin flakes, from the skin, which also contributes to skin renewal and fulfils its reputation as an anti-ageing treatment. In addition to its anti-ageing abilities, salicylic acid also reduces hyperpigmentation. Summary: Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial Stimulates collagen synthesis Exfoliates dead skin cells Eliminates impurities and sebum secretions Reduces enlarged pores Reduces keratosis pilaris Reduces the tendency to blackheads, pimples and acne Smoothes the skin texture Reduces hyperpigmentation You can find more information on the chemical and physical properties on Wikipedia under Salicylic acid. Why is salicylic acid peeling (BHA) so effective? The formulation of this peel is particularly effective in treating oily skin, blemishes, acne-prone skin and pores clogged with sebum and dead skin cells. Benefits: Reduces acne: The skincare experts have developed this product especially for people who suffer from oily skin, blemishes and acne-prone skin. It not only deeply cleanses the pores, but also promotes the rapid healing of inflammation. Reduces pores: The use of salicylic acid can help to reduce the size of pores. By removing keratinised skin cells and reducing clogging, pores can actually appear smaller. Improves skin texture: This facial scrub can help improve skin texture by removing keratinised skin cells and promoting the skin's natural collagen production. The result is smoother, more even skin. Gentle exfoliation: As it is very gentle and non-invasive, it is also suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Contents of the Salicylic Acid Peeling Set: Pre-Peel Solution 150 ml The pre-peel solution disinfects the skin and prepares it for the treatment. Pre Peel Solution Salicylic acid peeling 60ml You start the actual peeling process by applying the salicylic acid. Salicylic acid Post-peel solution 150ml The post-peel solution stops the peeling process as it neutralises the effect of the salicylic acid. For this reason, the post-peel solution is often referred to as a neutraliser. Post Peel Solution Application: On already cleansed skin: Apply Pre-Peel Solution to the face, neck and décolleté using a gauze. Then apply the salicylic acid with a fan brush. Leave on for a minimum of 4 minutes and a maximum of 8 minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove the excess acid with a dry gauze and apply the Post-Peel Solution. Leave on for 1 to 4 minutes. Wash off with plenty of water. Warning: This cosmetic product is intended for professional use only. After using this product: Avoid sun/use sun protection. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. For external use only. Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children. Salicylicacid, known as beta hydroxy acid (BHA), is a real fighter in the ring against acne and pimples. Its mode of action is like a targeted cleansing action deep inside your pores. It penetrates the openings of the hair follicles, where sebum and dead skin cells often combine to form a mix that clogs the pores and leads to blackheads and inflamed pimples. Thanks to its fat-soluble properties, it can dissolve this mixture of oil and skin cells. Imagine, like a detective looking for clues, the acid sneaks into the pores and dissolves the substances that can lead to acne. It has a keratolytic effect, which means that it promotes the exfoliation of skin cells, which in turn reduces the likelihood of pores becoming clogged. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce redness and swelling - a blessing if your skin is irritated and you want quick relief. To get the best results, it is important to use this facial scrub regularly and according to the instructions. However, overuse or improper use can lead to dryness or irritation, so pay attention to your skin's feedback and adjust use accordingly. Can I use salicylic acid (BHA) during pregnancy? This fruit acid, also known as beta hydroxy acid (BHA), is a popular ingredient in skincare products. However, during pregnancy, the guidelines for skincare change. The skin absorbs active ingredients and these can also reach the unborn child via the bloodstream. For this reason, its use is generally discouraged during pregnancy, especially in the higher concentrations found in medical skincare products or fruit acid peels. It is important that every pregnant woman speaks to her doctor individually about suitable skin care products. The health of the baby always comes first, and therefore it is better to avoid certain products when in doubt and opt for safe alternatives. What are the differences between salicylic acid and fruit acids? Fruit acids, technically known as alpha-hydroxycarboxylic acids (AHAs), are natural acids that, as the name suggests, can be extracted from fruit. They have the marvellous ability to exfoliate the skin by breaking down the bonds between dead skin cells. This promotes cell renewal and gives the skin a fresher appearance. Classic fruit acids include malic acid, citric acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid and tartaric acid. Interestingly, salicylic acid is also a fruit acid, if you define the term a little more broadly. It is a beta-hydroxycarboxylic acid and belongs to the phenolic acids. Although it has similar uses in skin care , such as reducing acne and exfoliating the skin, it has unique properties. Its lipophilic (fat-soluble) nature allows it to penetrate the pores and work deeply, which distinguishes it from the water-soluble AHAs. As a phenolic acid, it offers anti-inflammatory benefits as well as exfoliating properties. It can therefore help to reduce redness and inflammation. Does this product contain parabens? Ingredients are always in the spotlight in the skincare industry, and one of the most common questions concerns the use of parabens in products. Parabens are preservatives used in many cosmetic formulations to prevent the growth of bacteria and mould. However, there is a growing demand for paraben-free products due to concerns about their impact on health and the environment. Based on the list of ingredients, we confirm that Utsukusy Cosmetics' Salicylic Acid Peel does not contain parabens. The preservatives used in this product include phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, and caprylyl glycol, which are considered alternatives to parabens and can be found in many modern skincare formulations. The main active ingredients in this product are known for their exfoliating properties. Niacinamide, another ingredient, is a form of vitamin B3 that is valued for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to improve the appearance of pores and even out skin tone. Can I use this salicylic acid peel at home? It is important to emphasise that products specifically labelled for professional use usually contain higher concentrations of active ingredients and therefore carry an increased risk of side effects if used incorrectly. At Utsukusy Cosmetics, as with many other professional brands, such products are intended for use by trained professionals who know how to use them safely and effectively. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid(BHA) exfoliant that can exfoliate the upper layers of the skin, resulting in a fresher, more refined complexion. However, because it is an acid, using it without proper knowledge and experience can lead to irritation, over-exfoliation and sun damage. The warnings are very clear: For professional use only: this means that the product requires specialised handling and application techniques, which are usually taught during professional training courses for skin care experts. Avoid sun/use sunscreen: The acid can make the skin more sensitive to light, which increases the risk of sunburn and other sun damage. It is crucial to use a highly effective sunscreen after use to protect the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes: These areas are particularly sensitive and contact could cause painful irritation. For external use only: This means that it should not be ingested as it is intended for skin use only. Keep out of the reach of children: Due to its potentially hazardous nature, it should be stored carefully. For these reasons, we advise against home use unless you are a trained and experienced skincare professional yourself. Do I need to use a neutraliser with this salicylic acid? We can assure you that when using Utsukusy chemical peels, it is crucial to normalise the pH of the skin after the peel. This is necessary because chemical peels temporarily alter the skin's natural acid mantle. The use of a post-peel solution, i.e. a neutraliser, is an important step in this process. This neutraliser helps to stop the activity of the acid and brings the skin back into a safe pH range. This minimises the risk of irritation and burns and allows the skin to recover better. Can I use this salicylic acid only on the face or also on the body? This salicylic acid peeling is not only suitable for the face, but also for the body. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid(BHA) that penetrates deep into the pores to unclog and promote skin renewal. This makes it an excellent choice for treating skin conditions such as keratosis pilaris, also known as chapped skin. Keratosis Pilaris is characterised by small, hard pimples caused by excessive production of keratin, which leads to blockage of the hair follicles. It is common on the upper arms, thighs, buttocks and sometimes the face. Exfoliation can help to clear these blockages and smooth the appearance of the skin. When using on the body, bear in mind that the skin here may be thicker than on the face, meaning it may be less sensitive, but also that the penetration of the acid needs to be deeper to be effective. If there are signs of irritation or intolerance, you should discontinue use and consult a skincare expert or dermatologist. How often should I use the salicylic acid peel? We recommend that you tailor the use of a salicylic acid peel to your skin type and the condition of your skin. Salicylic acid has a keratolytic effect, which means that it loosens connections between dead skin cells and thus helps to remove them. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can be particularly helpful for acne. To start with, it is advisable to use it once every 14 days to see how your skin reacts to it. Look out for signs of irritation or hypersensitivity, such as redness, burning or dryness. If your skin responds well to the scrub, the frequency of use can be increased to once a week. However, it is important not to use it too frequently as this can cause skin irritation. Always bear in mind that the use of acid peels can reduce your skin's protection against UV radiation. It is therefore essential to wear a high sun protection factor during the treatment period and for a week afterwards, even if you are not directly in the sun. Which serum and cream should I use after a salicylic acid treatment? Basically, your choice of skincare products should be based on your skin type and skin problem. For example, if you suffer from oily, greasy and acne-prone skin, we recommend using the Perfect Skin Serum (Cremi-Gel Serum) and then the Perfect Skin Cream (Cremi-Gel Cream) for your daily skincare routine. Lactic acid peeling | Utsukusy Cosmetics
Lactic acid peeling - chemical peeling from Utsukusy Cosmetics We recommend the lactic acid peeling set from Utsukusy Cosmetics to anyone looking for a natural and gentle solution to their skin problems in the form of a chemical peeling. The organic lactic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid that breaks down the adhesion between the cells and thus stimulates exfoliation. With a pH value of 2.8 - 3.0, the peeling is very gentle. The lactic acid peeling from Utsukusy Cosmetics is an organic alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that breaks down the adhesion between the cells of the epidermis, stimulates exfoliation and achieves a flash effect. The peeling is obtained from milk. As it is a natural product, the likelihood of an allergic reaction is low, unless you suffer from a milk allergy. Although this acid (lactic acid) is derived from milk, it is still a fruit acid. For this reason, this product is a fruit acid peeling. Utsukusy's lactic acid peeling has a very high molecular weight, so it penetrates the skin slowly and not so deeply, which is why it can also be recommended for first-time users of chemical peelings and for sensitive skin. The lactic acid peel is ideal if you want to combat fine lines on the face, neck and décolleté, expression lines and photoaging. You should not use it if you are allergic to dairy products or suffer from severe dermatitis or couperose. It is also not compatible with retinoids. Fruit acid peel with pre-peel and post-peel solution - the lactic acid peel set from Utsukusy Cosmetics Take your skincare routine to the next level with the lactic acid peeling set from Utsukusy Cosmetics. The gentle and natural formula of the scrub will leave your skin looking fresher, brighter and younger. If you're looking for a gentle yet effective way to combat skin problems, then this set is for you. The lactic acid peeling set from Utsukusy Cosmetics offers a gentle yet effective way to improve the appearance of your skin. It is ideal for individuals looking for a natural and gentle way to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation or simply want a refreshed and smooth complexion. To get the most out of your lactic acid peel set, make sure to use the peel regularly and supplement with moisturising skincare products regularly. This will optimally prepare your skin for the peeling and protect it after the treatment. Also make sure to protect your skin from direct sunlight, as exfoliation can make the skin more sensitive to UV rays. Contents of the lactic acid peeling set The set contains Pre-Peel Solution, Lactic Acid Pe el and Post-Peel Solution, which is a perfect combination for the effective application of the peel. The pre-peel solution prepares the skin for the peel, while the post-peel solution stops the peeling process. Pre Peel Solution 150 ml With the pre-peel solution you disinfect the skin and prepare it for the peeling. Lactic acid peeling 60ml You start the actual peel by applying the lactic acid. Post peel solution 150ml The post-peel solution stops the peeling process as it neutralises the effect of the acid. For this reason, the post-peel solution is often referred to as a neutraliser. Using the lactic acid peeling set The lactic acid peel should be applied to skin that has already been cleansed. Apply the pre-peel solution to the face, neck and décolleté using a gauze Then start the actual peeling by applying the lactic acid (AHA) with a fan brush. Leave it on for at least 4 minutes, maximum 8 minutes and then remove the excess acid with a dry gauze and apply the Post Peel Solution to stop the peeling process and neutralise the effect of the acid. Leave the post-peel solution on for 1 to 4 minutes and rinse off with plenty of water. Warning: The chemical lactic acid peel is intended for professional use only. After using this product: Avoid sun/use sun protection. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. For external use only. Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children. Frequently asked questions about Lactic Acid Peeling (Lactic Acid) Can the Utsukusy lactic acid peeling be used in summer? Are you looking for a way to give your skin a fresh and clear appearance even in summer? A lactic acid peel from Utsukusy could be the answer. But what do you need to bear in mind if you want to use such a peeling during the sunny season? Here are some valuable tips for safe use: Safety and effectiveness in summer: the active ingredient, lactic acid, is an alpha hydroxy acid(AHA) that effectively helps to break the bonds between dead skin cells. This can be particularly beneficial in summer as the skin tends to produce more oil and sweat, which can lead to congestion and a dull complexion. UV protection is essential: As AHA makes the skin more sensitive to light, a high quality sunscreen is essential after use. We recommend a sunscreen with SPF 50, which protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Choose the right application time: Exfoliate in the evening to avoid immediately exposing freshly exfoliated skin to the sun. The skin has time to regenerate overnight. Moisturising is key: After exfoliating, apply a soothing and hydrating skincare product to support the skin's natural barrier function. Control application frequency: Don't overdo it with the frequency of application. Start once every 14 days and adjust the frequency to your skin tolerance. Seek professional advice: Consult a dermatologist or skincare expert before introducing a new exfoliating product into your routine, especially in summer. How often should I use the Utsukusy lactic acid peel? We recommend using this peeling no more than once a week. If you start the treatment in summer, use it every fortnight to begin with and then adjust the frequency to your individual skin tolerance if necessary. What does lactic acid do to the face? Lactic acid, a star in the world of skincare, has established itself as a true all-rounder. This gentle helper belongs to the alpha hydroxy acid(AHA) family and is known for its many positive effects on skin health. What lactic acid can do for your face: For a radiant complexion: lactic acid gently removes dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, resulting in an immediate brightening effect. With regular use, you can expect a gradual and visible improvement in your complexion. Against dark spots and acne scars: By exfoliating the outermost layer of skin, lactic acid helps to reduce dark spots and the appearance of acne scars. Over time, your skin will become more even and clearer. For refined pores: Lactic acid works effectively to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores by removing impurities that can build up in the pores. Moisturising properties: Unlike other exfoliating agents, lactic acid helps lock in moisture deep within the skin, resulting in plump and hydrated skin. Free radical protection: Lactic acid also has antioxidant properties that help protect the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals. Reduction of fine lines & wrinkles: With its ability to hydrate the skin and promote cell regeneration, lactic acid can smooth fine lines and rejuvenate the skin's appearance. Is lactic acid a BHA or AHA? Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). It is often used in skincare products due to its ability to remove dead skin cells and promote skin renewal. It is not classified as a beta hydroxy acid (BHA). If you are looking for a BHA peel, then the salicylic acid peel is the one for you. If you suffer from oily or acne-prone skin, we also recommend the salicylic acid peel (BHA) What does lactic acid do for a facial peel? Lactic acid belongs to the group of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and is often used in cosmetic peels. It has an exfoliating effect, which means that it removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. This promotes cell renewal and improves the overall appearance of the skin. In addition, lactic acid is able to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and stimulate collagen production there. Collagen is an essential protein that is responsible for the elasticity and firmness of the skin. Increased collagen production can reduce wrinkles and fine lines and give the skin a more youthful appearance. Lactic acid also helps to increase the skin's moisture content, resulting in overall healthier looking skin. When to use lactic acid for a peel treatment? Lactic acid peels are an insider tip in the cosmetics industry and are used in particular when it comes to refining the appearance of the skin. They are ideal for people who struggle with blemishes, large pores or fine wrinkles. The lactic acid penetrates deep into the skin and dissolves dead skin cells. This refines pores and makes the skin appear smoother and fresher. Lactic acid also stimulates collagen production and can therefore improve the skin's structure and counteract fine lines. Another advantage: lactic acid peels are also well tolerated by sensitive skin types. However, it is important to choose the right concentration and not to use the peeling too often. So, whenever you want a freshness boost for your skin, reach for the lactic acid peel from Utsukusy Cosmetics. You'll feel the positive effects after the very first application! Tranexamic acid peeling | Utsukusy Cosmetics
5% tranexamic acid peeling - chemical peeling Tranexamic acid peeling from Utsukusy Cosmetics is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It contains a high concentration of alpha-hydroxy acids, beta-hydroxy acids and enzyme activators, which are useful for skin problems such as acne, scars, wrinkles and blemishes. Tranexamic acid is a synthetic active ingredient that can reduce the formation of melanin and has an anti-inflammatory effect. pH: 2.8 - 3.0 Areas of application of tranexamic acid peeling: Uneven skin tone Stubborn dark spots on the face Post-acne scars General lack of radiance of the skin Active ingredients of the tranexamic acid peel 5% tranexamic acid: Tranexamic acid regulates the activity of melanocytes, which are responsible for melanin production - the pigment that gives the skin its colour. This can prevent and reduce the formation of dark spots or hyperpigmentation. It disrupts the inflammatory process that can lead to the formation of spots after skin damage, such as acne or treatments like laser therapy. Tranexamic acid acts on cells of the blood vessels to reduce excessive vascularisation, which is particularly beneficial for hyperpigmentation such as melasma, as the overproduction of blood vessels can worsen the appearance of blemishes. In addition, as an antioxidant, tranexamic acid protects the skin from free radical damage caused by pollution and helps to repair damage caused by UV light. 5% Niacinamide: Niacinamide brightens skin and evens skin tone by combating dark spots. Combining niacinamide with other depigmenting treatments increases its effectiveness. It also has an anti-ageing effect by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, reducing signs of ageing such as wrinkles and fine lines. As an antioxidant, niacinamide protects the skin from free radical damage and repairs UV damage. It moisturises by stimulating the production of ceramides and fatty acids, which strengthens the skin barrier and reduces transepidermal water loss. It also reduces redness and skin irritation, making it an ideal ingredient for sensitive skin, rosacea, atopic dermatitis and very reactive skin. Application of the tranexamic acid peeling Ideally, you will need the following products for the application or treatment process of a tranexamic acid peel: Basic Line Cleansing Milk Bijin facial cleansing cream Basic Line Micellar Water Pre-Peel Solution Tranexamic acid Post-Peel Solution Cleansing and disinfection In order to achieve an optimal peeling effect, it is necessary to thoroughly cleanse and disinfect the skin. We recommend using the cleansing milk and facial cleansing cream from Utsukusy Cosmetics first and then the PRE-PEEL Solution. Cleanse the skin with the Basic Line Cleansing Milk to remove traces of make-up Rinse with cold water Apply the Bijin Facial Cleansing Cream with a 3 - 4 minute massage Rinse with cold water Now apply the Basic Line Micellar Water tothe facial skin Apply the Pre-Peel Solution with a gauze Apply and work in the tranexamic acid peel After cleansing the facial skin, the peelingis quickly applied to the skin with a brush. It is advisable to cover the eyes with cotton pads before applying the peeling, as contact of the acid with the eyes must be avoided at all costs. Should the eyes or mucous membranes nevertheless come into contact with the acid, rinse them with plenty of water. The exposure time should be 4 - 8 minutes. The effect of a peeling can be intensified if, after applying the tranexamic acid with a brush, it is worked into the skin with a derma pen fitted with a nano-needle head. It should be noted that a nano-needle head does not have needles, but only slight protrusions with which the acid can be "tapped" into the skin. Apply the tranexamic acid peeling with a fan brush and leave on for 4 to 8 minutes. After the exposure time, remove excess acid with a dry gauze Neutralising the acid Once the peeling has had time to work, the peeling effect should be stopped with a neutralising solution. Facial peeling - what types are there and what do they do?

Facial peeling is one of the most widely used anti-ageing treatments for the face. Facial peels often also serve as a very effective preparatory treatment for other cosmetic treatments. However, facial peels can also be used for medical reasons in addition to cosmetic purposes. The word peeling comes from the English word "to peel" which means to peel. However, the intensive "peeling of the facial skin" is more likely to be part of the medical treatment spectrum than the cosmetic one.

Peeling treatments with cosmetic objectives such as improving the condition of the skin date back to ancient times. Sea salt peelings or fruit acid peelings were already being used back then, as Cleopatra (the last female pharaoh of Egypt) is said to have enjoyed in the form of a bath with donkey's milk. Let's take a closer look at the different types of peels and what a facial peel can do.

What can a facial scrub do?

What a peel can achieve often depends on the type and intensity of the peel. Basically, facial peels aim to achieve the following:

  • Dead, keratinised skin cells and flakes of skin should be loosened and removed from the skin.
  • The facial skin should literally be cleansed of impurities down to the pores.
  • This type of skin cleansing is intended to prevent the formation of blackheads and spots.
  • Enlarged pores should be minimised
  • Cell renewal and thus the formation of "new" skin, i.e. skin rejuvenation, should be stimulated.
  • The body's own collagen synthesis should be stimulated.
  • Blood circulation should also be stimulated, which means that the skin is better supplied with nutrients and the body's own active ingredients.
  • Facial peelings are said to help reduce or eliminate pigmentation spots.
  • Facial peels are also said to ensure an even and radiant complexion.
  • The appearance of scars, especially acne scars, should also be minimised with the help of facial peels.
  • Peelings are intended to prepare the facial skin so that it is better able to absorb active ingredients and skincare substances supplied from outside.

What types of facial peels are there?

Mechanical peelings

Mechanical facial peels, often referred to as scrubs, are peeling preparations with abrasive particles such as apricot kernel powder, salts and sugar. However, there are also other mechanical exfoliation methods such as exfoliating brushes and exfoliating gloves, as well as exfoliation with devices such as microdermabrasion.

Chemical peelings

Chemische Peelings wie z.B. Fruchtsäure-Peelings

Fruit acid peels from Utsukusy Cosmetics

Chemical peels use chemical substances such as acids with a low pH value. Fruit acids are probably the best-known exfoliating acids, which is why they are also known as fruit acid peels. Due to their great popularity and for better visibility, we have dedicated a separate category to fruit acid peels.

You can also find more information on fruit acid peels at www.fruchtsäure-peeling.de.

Enzyme peels

Enzyme peels usually use protein molecules to break down the proteins that hold the cells together. This loosens the cells, which can then be removed. The enzymes required for this are plant-based. Papain or bromelain are often used.

Thermal peels

So-called thermal facial peelings are not peelings in the classic sense, but laser devices are used to create an effect similar to that of peelings. The intensity of the peeling is determined by the energy density and penetration depth of the laser peeling. There are also so-called carbon laser peels. Here, liquid carbon is first applied to the skin, which binds with skin flakes and impurities as it dries out. The carbon layer is then specifically vaporised with the help of a laser.
